“ It's solid American food in a nice casual environment. The service is fairly standard. They are owned by the same group as Charlestons and their menu is quite similar but that also tells you it's a quality place. I recommend the chicken enchiladas. ”
“ Sam was our GREAT bartender. She was personable and witty. Knowledgeable of the menu and drinks menu. I had the meatloaf and my wife had the chicken fried chicken. Both were outstanding. The chocolate gelato mousse cake desert was OOTW. (Out Of This World) Again Sam was the perfect bar keeper. All of the waitstaff were busy as it was Valentine's Day. The did a wonderful job keeping up with the rush of people and change over. KUDOS all. ”
“ Good food, great service. Neat environment with an expensive vibe without the high price tag--as long as you don't order the steak! ”
“ The ambiance of Red Rock is great. It's upscale-casual, but the kind of place you can drop in and enjoy a few beers while watching a game, enjoy a casual meal with friends, or even enjoy a dressier night out and not feel out-of-place here. The rotisserie chicken chop salad was great and the portion was generous. Other great options (according to others in our group) are the Coastal Fish Sandwich and the Wood-Grilled Sausages and Chicken. The skillet cornbread was disappointing. It was missing the usual butter that comes on top at other restaurants, but I just thought they must melt the butter on top before serving. However, no such luck. The cornbread was bone dry. Our server was sweet, but hard to track down on a night that wasn't too busy. She also seemed to be rushing us out, even though again, it wasn't busy and it was still hours before they closed. We kept ordering, so it added to our check and her tip, so not sure what was up there. Even with some of the negative experiences, I will definitely go back. Their menu includes something for everyone. They also have a beautiful patio. ”
“ There is a decent sized parking lot around the restaurant. Though they were busy and we didn't have reservations on a Friday night, we were able to get seated quickly. The service is excellent, one person takes the drinks order and then the waiter comes for food orders and checks in frequently. The Caesar salad was excellent, the lettuce was crunchy and crispy and the dressing had a peppery spiced flavor, it was very fresh and refreshing. My husband got the house salad with the champagne vinaigrette and said it was one of the best salads he has had. I got the ribs, they definitely give you big portions here. I thought there was a little too much bbq sauce but the meat was tender and really good. The French fries were crispy and not too salty. We sat on the side patio so we were able to enjoy the fountains. ”
“ Have always loved red rock canyon since I was a kid! More familiar with the lake Hefner location but the Norman location is nice as well! They have a beautiful patio with a fire pit. We started the meal off with the cornbread - we love their cornbread! It was a bit drier than usual in my opinion but still delicious and don't forget to ask for butter! I enjoyed my chicken fried chicken, it was cooked to perfection! My parents split the ribs which is a huge portion but I think a great amount of food for the price! My sister enjoyed the salmon which was a bit well done, almost burnt in 'my opinion. Overall a solid option for a nice pricier dinner date or a family dinner! ”
